Susan made the Main Line her home when she settled in the area from Louisiana – with her newly-minted BA from LSU and her paralegal certification from the Institute for Paralegal Training – almost 40 years ago. After an early stint working as a paralegal which contributed to her fine attention to detail, Susan obtained her MBA from St. Joseph’s University. Always drawn to working with people, Susan became a human resources generalist and then an HR Manager overseeing a 200-employee region. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong interest in real estate gleaned from growing up in Louisiana with a family rental property business, Susan subsequently started her own rental property business as an enhancement to the family business.
The leap to real estate sales was a natural one, and today Susan utilizes the business, communication, financial and technical skills she’s gained through her varied and extensive background to ensure that her clients experience smooth transitions in buying, selling, and renting their homes. Susan lives in Penn Valley where she and her husband Ed reared their children, Christine and Dave. She has served on the board of The Crefeld School in Chestnut Hill since 2007, and is passionate about student learning regardless of learning style. In her spare time, Susan enjoys walking in the neighborhood with her two dogs, Jessie and Sydney.
